Our 17-month-old son just loves the O’Reilly Learning Python book. I suppose he especially likes the cute «mouse» on the cover. (I haven’t had the guts to tell him that it’s actually a rat).

Daurmith comenta Marzo: En Tinta Propia, un libro de historietas en el que ha colaborado que trata del atentado del 11 de marzo (en ese libro también participan otros dos amigos míos: Xavier Riesco y Juanan Rodríguez Armas). Anuncia que pronto estará en las librerías especiliazadas. Yo reservaré mi ejemplar (mi librero habitual me lee, y lo mejor no tengo ni que pasarme por la tienda para reservarlo).

Pues sí: ya está. El sábado pasado tuve en mis manos un ejemplar de Marzo: En Tinta Propia. Un tomo con palabras e imágenes arrancadas directamente de las venas de más de sesenta colaboradores, entre escritores y dibujantes. Un tomo negro, como el tema que trata, pero hermoso, como los corazones de la gente que lo hizo posible. Fue un momento de esos ambivalentes, porque no quiero tener que colaborar en algo así nunca más, pero a la vez me siento orgullosísima de haber hecho esto.

Te metes con tu propio móvil y hablas todo lo que quieras y todo lo alto que quieras. No parece mala idea.

BlipLog – Mobile Content: Mobile television European standard

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has announced that DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast – Handheld) was to be adopted for mobile television services in Europe. DBV-H is a standard from the DBV Organization for the broadcast of TV-like content and data to handheld devices, which have different requirements in terms of power consumption, screen size and mobility. Thus, an additional integrated receiver will allow the simultaneous transmission of television, radio and video channels to mobile phones.
