¿Por qué los ratones alcohólicos viven más?
Pues resulta que ratones modificados genéticamente para ser alcohólicos viven más. ¿Significa eso que el alcohol es bueno para la longevidad? Pues no necesariamente:

Whatever mutation the researchers have selected for, when they look for alcohol-loving or alcohol-hating rats, also seems to affect the life span of the rats. It does not matter whether they actually imbibe. These scientists have uncovered something that appears to decrease the chances of a rat dying. It also seems to be linked with a preference for alcohol.
